Parts made from PLA tend to be problematic as they are fragile, prone to breaking, and can lose their integrity over time. The glass transition temperature of PLA is quite low, which means if the parts are exposed to sunlight or left inside a parked car on a hot day, they may gradually soften, warp, and become unusable.
Using ABS plastic addresses all these issues. While ABS is more challenging to print, it requires a specialized 3D printer equipped with both water cooling and active heating.
The device will arrive fully assembled and ready for use. Simply connect the USB cable to your PC or laptop, plug in the power adaptor to the machine, install the software, and you can start drawing or writing.
