What is Hero RSA?

So, when does the RSA expire?

The RSA expires on 23 July 2027.

It is important not to confuse the certificate issue/printing date with the actual coverage period. The certificate shows a 24 July 2026 start date and 23 July 2027 end date.

Is Hero RSA valid for one year?

Yes.

The terms and conditions state that the Roadside Assistance Program is valid for 12 months from the program start date mentioned in the certificate.

Therefore, for this particular certificate:

24 July 2026 → 23 July 2027 = 12 months of RSA coverage

What happens after 23 July 2027?

This is where things become less clear.

The certificate confirms the 12-month coverage period, but it does not state an automatic renewal clause or a future renewal price.

Therefore, riders should not assume that the RSA will automatically continue after the expiry date.

Instead, check the renewal availability and applicable price through Hero MotoCorp, the Hero One app, or an authorised Hero dealer closer to the expiry date.

How much does Hero Xpulse 210 RSA renewal cost?

This is probably the biggest question for Xpulse owners.

The current official answer: no fixed public price found

At the time of checking Hero MotoCorp’s current official RSA information, Hero describes the RSA service and its benefits but does not publicly display a universal RSA renewal price for the Xpulse 210.

That means we should not publish an unverified amount as the 2027 renewal price.

The renewal price could depend on the applicable program, vehicle, dealer/channel, taxes and pricing applicable when the renewal is purchased.

Important: don’t confuse old prices with today’s renewal price

You may find older articles or posts mentioning historical RSA prices.

Those older prices should not automatically be considered the current price for an Xpulse 210 renewal in 2027.

What does the RSA cover?

The certificate for this Xpulse 210 provides several useful benefits.

1. On-site breakdown assistance

If the motorcycle becomes immobilized because of a mechanical or electrical breakdown, on-site repair can be arranged where the fault can be repaired within the specified conditions.

However, parts, consumables and replacement materials are not included in the coverage.

2. Lost key assistance

If the motorcycle keys are lost or misplaced, the service provider can assist in arranging delivery of a spare key.

If the spare key has to be sent from another city, courier and transportation costs are borne by the customer.

3. Flat tyre assistance

If a puncture immobilizes the motorcycle, assistance can be arranged to take the punctured tyre to the nearest tyre repair shop.

However, the actual puncture repair cost is the customer’s responsibility.

4. Fuel assistance

If the bike runs out of fuel, the provider can arrange up to 5 litres of petrol on a best-effort basis.

The cost of the fuel itself is payable by the customer.

5. Vehicle towing

One of the most useful benefits for a touring motorcycle is towing.

The certificate provides for towing to the nearest authorised Hero workshop, subject to a maximum covered towing distance of 40 km from the breakdown location.

If the required workshop is more than 40 km away, the customer is responsible for the additional charge specified in the certificate.

Battery support

If the Xpulse 210 cannot start because its battery is discharged, RSA can arrange a battery jump-start.

However, replacement parts or materials are not included.

Cab support

The certificate also includes a cab-support benefit in certain circumstances.

It provides travel assistance for occupants when the covered vehicle is immobilised because of a breakdown or accident, subject to the stated limits and conditions.

The certificate specifies a maximum benefit of 10 km or 5,000, with conditions including the incident occurring at least 100 km away from the declared residence. It also limits the benefit to two occupants.

Hotel accommodation benefit

The RSA certificate also includes a hotel benefit in qualifying circumstances.

It provides accommodation for one day, subject to the specified maximum and conditions.

One important condition is that the breakdown or accident must occur at least 100 km away from the user’s declared residence. The benefit is also limited to once during the subscription period.

Is RSA the same as bike insurance?

No.

This is an important distinction.

RSA is a roadside assistance service. It is intended to help you when your motorcycle is immobilised because of situations covered by the RSA program.

It should not be confused with mandatory motor vehicle insurance.

The RSA certificate itself even lists obligatory insurance among the vehicle documentation/requisites that must be available for the vehicle to legally operate on public roads.

So, having RSA does not mean your motorcycle insurance has been renewed.

Can another person use the RSA?

According to the FAQ included with the certificate, another person can receive RSA assistance when the enrolled device is physically present at the location requiring assistance.

The certificate describes the service as following the phone rather than being restricted solely to one individual.

How can Xpulse owners request RSA assistance?

Important limitations riders should know

RSA is designed for emergencies and roadside assistance, not regular motorcycle maintenance.

The certificate states that the program provides temporary assistance rather than regular maintenance normally carried out at authorised workshops.

There are also several exclusions and conditions.

For example, assistance may be restricted where the vehicle is not properly maintained, the rider does not have the required licence, the vehicle is involved in certain legal cases, or the motorcycle is being used in ways excluded by the program.

Special equipment required to recover a motorcycle from certain off-road locations may also be chargeable to the customer.

Should Xpulse 210 owners renew RSA?

For someone who mainly rides locally and is always close to a service centre, RSA may not feel essential.

But for touring and long-distance riders, RSA can be useful.

Imagine being 100–200 km away from home and facing:

• A puncture
• Battery failure
• Mechanical breakdown
• Running out of fuel
• A motorcycle that cannot be ridden to the workshop

In such situations, having a roadside assistance service can save considerable time and stress.

For an adventure/touring-oriented motorcycle such as the Xpulse 210, this can be particularly relevant.

Our conclusion

Based on the RSA certificate reviewed for the Hero Xpulse 210, the coverage is valid for 12 months, from 24 July 2026 until 23 July 2027.
